December 2008 New Release Bonanza!!!

We're rocking around the Christmas tree here at Electronica Exposed as 4 massive CDs of awesome tuneage have landed in our Shop!:

Grimsoul 'Melancholy Overdose' is the debut album of Finrg rising star Grimsoul and is an incredible showcase of his extraordinary freeform sound. Recently tipped by DJ Proteus as THE producer to watch in 2009, and having just had some huge releases out on Kreatrix and Finrg's hot new Hybridize label, this album should definitely not be missed!

Electronic Exclusives 12 - Digital Dusk is another installment in the superb compilation album series from Electronic. Once again featuring new and upfront unmixed tracks from all the best talent in freeform including: Epyx & Cyrez, Firefly, Susbstanced, Nightforce, Invader, Skampy & Deddley, Micken and Horzi, as well as introducing new artists: Mary K, Meke, 3star and The Wizard!

Electrolysis - The Complete Works Volume 1 is a retrospective compilation of our Electrolysis hard dance label. Featuring the first 10 classic vinyl releases from the label now remastered and available on CD for the first time, this great double CD includes massive anthems from The Mexican and shows the origins of the Finrg scene with many of Carbon Based's early classics!

Bedlam Records - Volume 1 - The Way We Were is also an absloute monster retrospective double CD of classics, this time focussing on Lee UHF's big kick super label Bedlam. Featuring all of the labels classic vinyl releases from Devastate, Lee UHF, Tabz, Freestyle, Oli G and Joey Riot also remastered and available on CD in one package for the first time. This is also a great teaser for the fortchcoming compilation Bedlam Records - Volume 2 - The Dying Breed, which is due out in 2009!

We're really happy to round off a great 2008 with these huge releases! Electronica Exposed would like to thank everyone who has bought our music and supported us and here's to 2009 (including the launch of a new hardcore/freeform vinyl label)! :)

Electronica Exposed wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :)

November 2008 News!!!!

We are currently doing a massive stock check at Electronica Exposed HQ and have found mint condition, unplayed copies of a number of highly sought after and long out of stock releases!!

Once the stock check is complete, a list of the records we've found will be posted here, along with the quanitites of each in stock and a date when they will be added to the Shop. This date will be at least 1 week after the post is made. Once added, they will be available on a first come, first served basis. Many people have asked about these records and this is a great opportunity to obtain that missing piece of your Electronica Exposed collection, so keep checking back for more information!

Also, many people have asked about the future of the business. So to clarify a few matters: Electronica Exposed WILL continue in 2009! There will not be as many releases as in the past, but there will be some interesting releases to look forward to (other than those listed below). At present, the planned release schedule (updated December 2008) is this:

CDs:

Electrocute 4
Electrolysis - The Complete Works Volume 2
Bedlam - The Dying Breed

News Statement 02.06.2008

After much consideration, Electronica Exposed will stop releasing hardcore and freeform in 2008.

The decision has been based on a number of both business and personal factors, but unfortunately it would be impossible to run the hardcore and freeform side of the business at the current standard, and I do not wish to continue if this standard cannot be sustained.

Running the labels has had its ups and downs over the years but I'd like to thank everyone who has bought the releases, all of the artists for supplying great music, all the businesses I've dealt with (even if the majority of them ended up in liquidation or administration lol) and all the great people I've met along the way. :D

There are a few friends I'd like to thank especially for their support over the years.. you know who you are! Respect! :D

For the time being, Electronica Exposed will continue to operate as normal. There are many releases still scheduled for this year including:

CDs - Artist Albums:

Lost Soul 'Human Being'
Firefly 'Omega Point'
Grimsoul 'TBC'
Substanced 'TBC'

CDs - Compilations:

Kreatrix 6
Full Circle 2
Electronic Exclusives 10, 11 and 12
Digital Beats - The Complete Works
Movement 2004
Electronic - The Complete Works Volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4
Electromagnetic - The Complete Works
Bedlam albums

Vinyl:

Electromagnetic 5, 6, 7 and 8
Hardcore Coalition 4, 5 and 6

That's most of what's scheduled but there may be releases missing. There are some great releases scheduled past Hardcore Coalition 6, but they haven't been confirmed yet by all parties.

Over the remainder of the year, Electronica Exposed will be selling off all our remaining back catalogue releases, so look out for some special offers and sales over the next few months!! ;)

Electronica Exposed will remain open past 2008 and will focus on our forthcoming Electrocute progressive house label and our Electrolysis hard dance label. Electronica Exposed will continue to administer our back catalogue of releases for the foreseeable future.

In addition to the labels closing, I personally will not be producing hardcore and freeform past the current projects that are currently being completed.

As the film and song states "Never Say Never Again", so who knows what the future will bring...

Finally, I'd like to say that it's been a pleasure running the labels over the years and I hope that our music has brought you some happiness and enjoyment.  :D
