Ordering
Placing An Order
- Cookies must be enabled on your computer and you must be able to pay through Paypal.
- To purchase an item, please enter the quantity of the item you want and then click "Add to cart", which adds the item to your shopping cart.
- Follow this process for any items you wish to purchase.
- At any time, you may view the contents of your cart by clicking "View Cart".
- On the "My Cart" page, you can change the quanitites of the order by entering the new quantity and then click "Update Cart", or you can click "Empty Cart" to remove all items from the cart.
- When your order is complete, please click "Checkout" in your cart.
- If you are not logged in, you will then be asked to "Login". If you are not registered, you will be required to "Register" a new account.
- You will then see the first "Checkout" page where you must enter your address and telephone number.
- Please check that all your information is correct and then click "Save".
- You will then see the second "Checkout" page, which will show you a breakdown of your order including shipping and tax if applicable.
- Please check that your order is 100% correct, as Electronica Exposed accepts no responsibility for items ordered in error.
- The page might display more than one shipping method. If so, please be careful to choose the method that is best for you.
- You can click "Change Order" to continue shopping or change the order, or you can click "Cancel Order" to cancel your order.
- If everything is correct, please click "Submit".
- You will then be re-directed to Paypal to make payment.
- Once you have made payment via Paypal, you will return to the Electronica Exposed website and will see your order information.
- Order information will include items ordered, contact information and number of packages to be delivered.
- Your order information will also be e-mailed to you automatically.
Payment Methods
- UK - Payment by paypal, cheque and postal order accepted in UK Pounds ONLY.
- Europe - Payment by paypal accepted in UK Pounds ONLY.
- Rest Of The World - Payment by paypal accepted in UK Pounds ONLY.
Order Problems
Incorrect, damaged or faulty items
- We will replace any incorrect, damaged or faulty item free of charge.
- Please contact us via our feedback form.
- We will issue you with a returns number, and may require you to return the incorrect or faulty item(s), but you will be reimbursed for your return postage.
- Please DO NOT return faulty items to us without contacting us first.
- Replacements will be sent on receipt by us of the incorrect, damaged or faulty item.
- PLEASE NOTE: due to Royal Mail weight limits, we sometimes split larger orders into separate packages. Often they will arrive at the same time but sometimes the packages will arrive on different days so please be patient if not all packages arrive together.
Lost or damaged items
- Every order that we send out is insured.
- If you do not receive your order, or receive an order which is damaged, then you should contact us through the feedback form and we will either refund you or resend the order free of charge.
- In the event of damage to a parcel or some of the parcel contents, you should give a detailed listing of the items affected and the nature of the damage. We may require photographic evidence.
- For parcel loss/theft, we will only resend or refund the cost of the order once the maximum delivery time has passed:
- Orders to the UK & Channel Islands: 14 days from the date of despatch
- Orders to the rest of the world (outside the UK): 28 days from the date of despatch
- Should item(s) be missing from your order, then you should contact us as soon as possible through the feedback form and we will send replacements as required.

Website Problems
- The main reason you may have problems using the site is that you do not have "cookies" enabled in your web browser, or you do not have www.electronicaexposed.com listed as a "Trusted Issuer" of cookies. To check this in MS Internet Explorer, you should go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Edit and ensure that www.electronicaexposed.com appears in the "Managed Web Sites" list with an "Always Allow" setting.
- Another likely cause of problems is that the security settings on your web browser are set too high, which prevents your computer communicating with our server properly. If using Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy and adjust the security level slider to the "default" or medium level. For all browsers, ensure that Active Scripting and JavaScript are enabled in the browser options.
- Other reasons why customers may encounter problems using the shopping cart are that (a) customers are ordering from within a firewalled company network, or (b) ordering from a non-standard PC/Mac unit (eg a games console). In both these cases, the shopping cart may not function properly, so we recommend using a normal stand-alone PC/Mac.
- If you are still unable to make the shopping cart or web site work then, if possible, try using a different computer or contact us using the feedback form.
