Shipping

Delivery will be made via Royal Mail first class recorded delivery.
Insurance is included.
Where shipping charges are higher than £15.00, delivery will be made by courier.

If you are inside the European Union (EU) then you will never have to pay import tax and your order will go straight through customs.
If you are outside the EU, we remove the 17.5% UK sales tax (VAT) from the cost of your records before sending (see notes on tax deduction below).
However, your local customs may add import duty/local sales tax to your order when delivering. Most countries outside the EU will allow small packages (i.e. less than 4 records/CDs) to be delivered without additional charges, but some countries will tax your order (usually at a rate equivalent to your local sales tax) when you receive your parcel.
If you are concerned about this, please contact your customs office for more information, as you (not Electronica Exposed) will be liable for any such charges.

The tax deduction is made at the point of ordering and there is no need to apply for any rebate after the order is placed.
Discount applies only to goods purchased (records, CDs, tapes etc.), and not to postage or insurance (there is no VAT on postage).
Tax-free orders must be delivered to an address outside the EU. Orders from non-EU residents to be delivered within the EU do not qualify.

All orders are despatched as soon as possible. This is usually within 48 hours of Electronica Exposed receiving a fully cleared payment.
The time that your order takes to arrive depends on your distance from the UK, and on the efficiency of your local postal service.
Please note that these times are only estimates based on our previous experience of sending to your country:
UK and Northern Ireland: between 1 and 2 working days.
Western Europe: between 3 an 5 working days.
Eastern Europe: between 5 an 15 working days.
Rest of the world (excluding Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Japan): between 5 an 9 working days.
Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Japan: between 4 and 8 working days.
Depending on factors beyond our control (for example local delivery problems, and customs inspections/delays) this can take longer.

Parcel2Go - www.parcel2go.com
Parcel2Go is the company responsible for all orders with courier delivery and liases with DHL, City Link and FedEx who do the actual collection and delivery of orders.

Vinyl records are packaged in a strong cardboard mailer with extra cardboard stiffener for protection.
CDs are packaged in a secure jiffy bag.
Orders of multiple items are packaged in a variety of different boxes, mailers, etc.
All items are packaged securely so that the item(s) are received in the best possible condition.
Orders may be split into multiple packages due to Royal Mail weight limits. If so, you will be notified of the number of packages when ordering.
