ALIAS A.K.A. / SHANTY / THE MEXICAN

Richard Andrews (Alias A.K.A.) is the driving force behind Electronica Exposed and is also one of its primary artists having produced and remixed hundreds of compositions as Alias A.K.A, Shanty and The Mexican, and as part of the Penguin Conspiracy and STL groups, to name but a few of his numerous pseudonyms. Richard has worked tirelessly over many years to source innovative underground dance music from all over the world that has continually cemented Electronica Exposed's reputation as one of the most daring, cutting edge, dance music record labels!

PENGUIN CONSPIRACY

Penguin Conpsiracy are long-time friends Richard Andrews (The Mexican) and Paul Girdler (Girdler Synthetic). The deadly duo are renowned for their unique blend of hard dance, freeform and acid techno inspired by artists including Nick Sentience, Weirdo, Captain Tinrib, Lab 4, D.A.V.E. The Drummer and DDR. Penguin Conspiracy's massive trilogy of artist albums 'March Of The Penguins', 'Imitation Of Life' and 'Machines Of Love And Grace' along with many other twisted and evil productions are available on Electronica Exposed!


AC Slater Alex Calver / Skapes / Calvertron / CVT / WMD
AC SLATER

AC Slater (Aaron Clevenger) is one of North America's principle dance music DJs and producers, taking influences from all aspects of the rave scene and morphing them into his own special brand of electro, breaks, dubstep and house productions that have caused serious carnage on dancefloors worldwide. AC has released on his own Party Like Us and Night Bass labels as well as a fistful of other huge labels, and has produced phenomenal remixes for Moby, Drop The Lime, Freestylers, Steve Angello & Laidback Luke, Deekline & Wizard, Stanton Warriors and many more! Before his rise to the heights of global clubbing, AC Slater started as an underground freeform, hardcore and hard dance producer on Club Concrete, Electronic and Electronica Exposed!

ALEX CALVER / SKAPES / CALVERTRON / CVT / WMD

Alex Calver burst onto the dance music scene in 2002 with a series of cutting edge hard house and techno releases. Since then, Alex has proven to be a jack of all trades mastering every genre that he's set his mind to, be it electro house, progressive house, drum & bass, dubstep and everything bass music related under the pseudonyms Calvertron, Skapes, CVT and WMD and as part of the Twocker and Zero Dayz groups. Alex has released on his own Glitch Recordings, Subsonix, Jack Knife and Eskape Musik labels as well as a who's who of the biggest record labels across a multitude of genres! Alex's music appears on Club Concrete, Electrocute, Electrolysis and Electronica Exposed!


Gareth Emery Epyx & Cyrez
GARETH EMERY

Gareth Emery is an English electronic dance music producer and DJ renowned for his distinctive productions fusing trance, house and progressive. Since 2004, Gareth has collaborated with many of the finest trance music producers including Lange, Above & Beyond, Ashley Wallbridge, Solid Globe, Jon O'Bir and CERN and has released on his own Five AM, Garuda and We'll Be OK labels as well as on A State Of Trance, Armada Music, AVA, Anjunabeats, Mondo, S2, Vandit, Baroque, Lost Language, Multiply and Bonzai. Gareth remixed Echano 'Nothing To Live For' for Motion in 2004, and Motion released the anthemic 'The Verdict' under Gareth Emery & Mike Dedross Present Wirefly in 2006!

EPYX & CYREZ

Epyx (Juha Ahonen) & Cyrez (Jami Lauttalammi) were part of the second wave of Finnish producers to hit the freeform and hard dance scene in 2007 with their unique brand of twisted synths, heavy beats and dark grooves! The ultra prolific duo have since released a whole host of productions on Electronica Exposed, Kreatrix, FINRG, Hybridize, Watchtower and Thank You For The Horse. Eypx & Cyrez unleashed their devastating 'Sleep Paralysis' debut album on Electronica Exposed in 2009 and their second 'Two Against The Void' album on Watchtower in 2013. The duo are now focussed exclusively on slower grooves through their Johan Floss (Cyrez) and Samuel Fielding (Epyx) pseudonyms.


The Thrillseekers Carbon Based
THE THRILLSEEKERS

The Thrillseekers (Steven Helstrip) has been at the forefront of the trance genre since the release of his critically acclaimed composition 'Synaesthesia' in 1998, which has sold over 1,000,000 copies across its numerous worldwide releases and lead to further trance classics including 'Dreaming Of You', 'New Life' and 'The Last Time'. The Thrillseekers is also a well respected international DJ, runs his own massively successful Adjusted Music label, and has also remixed artists such as Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Vincent De Moor, Pulser, Solarstone, Timo Maas, Sonique, Chicane, Blank & Jones and Seb Fontaine. In 2004, The Thrillseekers remixed Usual Aspect 'Mr Blue' for Motion!

CARBON BASED

Carbon Based (Toni Eronen, Ari Virtanen, Teemu Lahtinen, Petteri Kääpä, Ville Sorsa) are pioneers of FINRG, a powerful mix of hard dance and freeform, and have produced definitive classics including 'Cyclone', 'Anger Ball', 'Illuminate' and 'Ultimate Protection' with releases on Electrolysis, Electronic, Electronica Exposed, FINRG, Alien Trax, Nu Energy and many more! With such a rich, diverse and immense discography, Carbon Based have plenty of audio weaponry which they have used to perform numerous PAs in Finland, Australia and the UK that have consistently sent clubbers into a state of rapture with their infectious lead melodies, gritty saw synths and pounding beats!

TAZZ / TRACED / TRCD / D. TRAC3D

Daniel Taylor is a fundamental part of the Electronica Exposed story being co-owner of the Digital Beats and Digital Beatz labels, and producer of numerous cutting edge classics on nearly every Electronica Exposed label! As Tazz, Daniel collaborated with Shanty, A.M.S., Devastate, Concept and Dodgee and wrote hard as nails freeform monsters for Digital Beats, Digital Beatz, Electronic, Electroplates, Electronic Phusion, Hardcore Coalition, Hecttech, FBI and Camel. Traced focussed on hard house, hard trance and techno, often alongside The Mexican, Alex Calver and WMD with releases on Club Concrete, Electrolysis and Electronica Exposed. As D. Trac3d, Daniel expanded into electro house, progressive house and trance, collaborating with The Mexican, CVT and Calvertron on Electrocute, Eternal Vibes and Jack Knife. After rekindling his love of breakbeats as part of STL, Daniel now produces drum & bass as TRCD, co-runs the VTO label with Lee UHF and has released neurofunk on Trendkill, Red Light, Close 2 Death, Dirtbox, Cause 4 Concern and Neuroheadz!

TWISTED FREQ / LEVEL 13 / KREATRIX

Twisted Freq (David Quesnel) is Canada's most prolific freeform producer and his truly unique style typically consists of dark soundscapes, twisted synths and dirty riffs! Recognising Twisted Freq's incredible talent and the awe-inspiring sounds of his Kreatrix label, Electronica Exposed and Kreatrix started a collaboration that would ultimately lead to a series of six highly respected unmixed Kreatrix compilation albums, which also featured freeform by Micken, Nightforce, Epyx & Cyrez, Substanced, Horzí, Alchemiist, Tyranoid, Strongstream, Sam One, Grimsoul, Nomic, Guld and many more. Also producing under a range of pseudonyms including Level 13, The Machinist, Dave Zombie, Furyan and Kreatrix, Twisted Freq has released on Blizzard Tracks Digital, Volatile Digital Audio, Addictive Downlo@d, HHC, Kanibalz Digital, as well as Electronic, Electroplates, Hardcore Coalition, Electrode and Electronica Exposed!

AUDIOFREQ / ORBIT1 / THE ACOLYTE

Sam Gonzalez attacked the dance music scene with such unbelievable levels of energy and enthusiasm that it's no surprise that he has excelled in every genre he's turned his attention to, be it happy hardcore, breakbeat hardcore and drum & bass as The Acolyte or Orbit1, breaks as Mitosis, or hardstyle as Audiofreq, BRK3 and Bioweapon! The Acolyte / Orbit1 appeared on numerous labels such as Executive, Relentless Vinyl, Thin N Crispy, Lethal Theory, Warped Science and Infinity, and became a key Electronica Exposed artist with vocal happy hardcore anthems on Dusk Till Dawn, epic drum & bass groovers on Electromagnetic and freeform rave anthems on Electroplates. Since 2009, Sam has focussed exclusively on hardstyle and his exceptional 'Audioception' and 'Audiology' artist albums have seen Audiofreq become one of hardstyle's greatest artists with releases on Dirty Workz, Scantraxx and his own Audiophetamine!

LEE UHF

Lee UHF (Lee Ambler) ran Total Bedlam, the much loved happy hardcore and underground freeform event, before launching Bedlam Records which unleashed big kick stompers by Devastate, Invader, Riddler and Lee himself. Over the next few years, Lee established himself as one of the pioneering big kick, freeform producers and released music on Nukleuz, Relentless Vinyl, Destructive Force and Evolution Plus, co-ran Electronic Bedlam with Shanty which featured music by Gammer, Cube::Hard, Darwin, Fracus, Joey Riot, DJ Kurt and Technikore, and also collaborated with Electronica Exposed on three huge Bedlam compilation albums. Lee currently writes drum & bass, runs the R U SRS Music garage and bass house label, the Dirtbox drum & bass label and also co-runs the neurofunk drum & bass VTO label with TRCD!


The Panacea Invader
THE PANACEA

After serving an apprenticeship in classical music, being a member of the boy's choir of Windsbach and studying music engineering at the SAE Institute, The Panacea (Mathis Mootz) worked with the experimental hip hop / illbient label Chrome. Over the course of many drum & bass albums and singles, and as A&R manager for Chrome, later renamed Position Chrome, The Panacea became known for his energetic DJ sets and pushing the boundaries of drum & bass into industrial and hardcore territory on Position Chrome, Kniteforce Again (KFA), Highpulse, Outbreak, Offkey, Intransigent and PRSPCT. The Panacea released the early 90s inspired rave anthem 'Feelgood Tune' on Electromagnetic, and remixed Shanty 'Time's Trouble' on Electronic and AC Slater & Daywalker 'Passion' on Electromagnetic!

INVADER

Invader (Benjamin Handbury) is widely regarded as one of the UK's top freeform artists and has an extremely impressive discography including anthems such as 'Enraptured Soulz', 'Taste The Funk' and 'Bang The Drums' on many top labels including Stompin Choonz, RFU, Bedlam, Camel, ReBuild Music, 3form, Freeformatted, Coriolis Effect and his own almighty Innervision, which also released freeform by Dodgee, A.M.S., Oli G, Lost Soul, Freestyle and Nightforce! Invader is closely associated with Electronica Exposed having collaborated with Shanty on the freeform classic 'Danse Macabre' and many other original compositions and remixes on Digital Beatz, Electronic, Electroplates, Hardcore Coalition, Electromagnetic and Electronica Exposed!


Alek Száhala / Paocala James Xavier / DOK / Petrol Heads
ALEK SZÁHALA / PAOCALA

Alek Száhala (Aleksi Sahala) was one of the first wave of Finnish producers to hit the freeform scene with his unique, pioneering productions like 'Comet Catcher', 'Superstition' and 'Anmitzcuaca' which embraced melodic, psy, industrial, techno and trance influences and instantly catapulted him into the top tier of freeform artists! Aleksi has also produced more melodic freeform as Paocala and has performed his incredible live show at clubs and events in Finland, Canada, Australia and the UK. Heavily supported by DJ Proteus, Alek Száhala's productions have appeared on FINRG, FINRG Hard, Camel, Nu Energy and ReBuild Music, as well as Electronic, Electroplates, Electronic Phusion and Electronica Exposed. Alek continues to enthral the freeform scene, which awaits his next epic freeform concotion with feverish anticipation!

JAMES XAVIER / DOK / PETROL HEADS

James Thompson was an integral part of Electronica Exposed's early years and he was also a key driving force on the Club Concrete and Dusk Till Dawn labels in his role as joint label manager. First appearing as DOK, his cutting edge freeform compositions and collaborations with Shanty, AC Slater, Lost Soul and Ponder appeared on Electronic, Electroplates, Elation, Destructive Force and Pitched Up. Then as James Xavier, his slamming hard house and hard trance productions and collaborations with The Mexican, RFO and Carl Nicholson took clubland by storm with releases on Club Concrete, Electrolysis and Proactive. Finally, as Petrol Heads, James completed a huge remix of BK's 'Playing With Knives' for Riot! and unleashed five superb happy hardcore anthems on Dusk Till Dawn, which received remixes from Sy & Unknown, Billy "Daniel" Bunter & CLSM, Cube::Hard and Orbit1!


STL Robin Petras / Ruffage
STL

STL (Richard Andrews, Daniel Taylor and Luciano Taiani) are children of the breakbeat rave scene that dominated UK underground culture in the early 1990s as pioneered by artists such as The Prodigy, Acen, Omni Trio, Hyper On Experience, Austin, SL2 and The House Crew. STL originally produced trancecore as Shanty, Tazz & Loopy (hence STL) and Menace 2 Society on the pioneering Digital Beats label, and performed DJ sets at numerous parties in Surrey, England. In 2009, the trio formed STL and produced the incredible 'Rough World' album of breakbeat orientated madness, which was released on Electronica Exposed!

ROBIN PETRAS / RUFFAGE

Ruffage (Robin Petras) owns PureFocus Mastering in Canada and his mastering expertise has been hugely influential across the entire Electronica Exposed catalogue to ensure that every release is optimised to the highest audio quality possible. Robin has also helped Electronica Exposed artists fine tune their mixdowns, edited and tuned vocals, and has generously given hugely beneficial advice and guidance for many years! Robin has mastered for huge artists like MJ Cole, AC Slater, Plastician, Mark Dynamix, Jaytech and Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP, and released music as Ruffage on Elation, Hardcore Underground, Phase 4, RFU, Bassquake, Konami, Force 10, Hardcore Coalition, Electrode and Electronica Exposed!


Grimsoul / Fox Murder Re-form
GRIMSOUL / FOX MURDER

Grimsoul (Mikko Rantanen) was part of the second wave of Finnish producers that smashed their way into the freeform scene between 2006 and 2009 and is well known for his trademark epic melodies and soundscapes. Mikko has collaborated with Cyrez, Substanced and Phyton on Hybridize, FINRG, Camel, Kreatrix, ReBuild Music, Watchtower and Electromotive, and also been on huge DJ mix albums by DJ Proteus, Oli G and Lost Soul. Grimsoul's album 'Melancholy Overdose' is widely regarded as one of the greatest ever freeform artist albums and perfectly showcases his epic productions including 'After Quality', 'Moment Of Wonder', 'Some More' and 'Synthetic Paradise'. Mikko currently DJs and produces electro, house and trance as Fox Murder.

RE-FORM

Re-form (Antti Toivanen and Lasse Toivanen) was founded in 2001 by two brothers and initially made melodic, atmospheric trance before the new style of Re-form was born: unique, mind-blowing, brutal hard NRG and freeform! Their composition 'Extremely Dangerous' made a furious breakthrough in Finland and all around the world and lead to huge compositions such as 'Schizophrenic', 'Access To Your Soul' and 'Pure Evil' being released on Electronic, Electroplates, Electronica Exposed, Finrg, Finrg Digital, RFU Recordingz, Smiling Corpse and Watchtower. Re-form have also performed energectic live PAs across Finland at big clubs and events such as Säde, Impulse, Loco, Fury, Finrg Tour and Movement!


Lost Soul Olly Addictive & TTE / Wyrm & Surtr
LOST SOUL

Since his debut composition 'Euphoric Energy' was released on Nu Energy in 2002, Lost Soul (Jordan Leppert) has become one of the most respected and influential freeform producers. Lost Soul's unique and unparalleled ability to write spine-tingling, euphoric super saw melodies or devastatingly intense, gritty riffs of distorted audio madness has been released on Electronica Exposed, Electronic, Electroplates, Electronic Bedlam, Nu Energy, Relentless Vinyl, CLSM, Raw Elements, Elation, Camel, Innervision, ReBuild Music, Relentless Digital, Glowmind and Watchtower! Lost Soul's album 'Human Being' was released on Electronica Exposed in 2008 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest freeform artist albums in history!

OLLY ADDICTIVE & TTE / WYRM & SURTR

Olly Addictive (Oliver Goddard) & TTE (David Turnough) burst onto the freeform scene in 2011 with the big kick freeform monsters 'The Dogs Of War' and 'The Ride', which were released on Electronica Exposed. Known for delivering hard as nails, big kick drum bangers, the Cumbria based producers have established themselves as respected freeform artists and have subsequently produced heavy duty freeform on Electrode, ReBuild Music, 3form, Ruff Beatz, Tesla Tracks and their own Smiling Corpse label. The duo also produce more experimental freeform as Wyrm (TTE) & Surtr (Olly Addictive) and have featured on Electrode!


Pain On Creation Technikore / Technikal
PAIN ON CREATION

Pain On Creation (Jarno Paappanen and Marko Mehtonen) were part of the first wave of Finnish producers that marauded their way into the freeform scene in 2002 and 2003 with their distinctive, frenetic hard dance sound inspired by Lab 4, Captain Tinrib, Weirdo, Carbon Based and Epilim. Supported by DJ Proteus on his superb album DJ mixes, Pain On Creation quickly established themselves as major players on FINRG, FINRG Hard, Camel and FINRG Digital. Freeform classics by Pain On Creation, like the dark and unrelenting stab-fest 'Second Death' and super intense 'Mortality', were released on Electronic, Electroplates, Electromotive and Electronica Exposed!

TECHNIKORE / TECHNIKAL

Technikore is also Technikal (Alf Bamford), the legendary hard dance producer who has collaborated with high calibre artists such as Steve Hill, Phil York, Olly Perris, Guyver, Andy Whitby, Carl Nicholson and Rob Tissera on Tidy Trax, Riot!, Tranzlation, Masif and AWsum. In 2007, Alf unleashed his happy hardcore alias Technikore and immediately produced some seriously dancefloor damaging anthems on Raver Baby, Futureworld, Twista, Supersonik and HTID including collaborations with Hixxy, Breeze, Gammer, DJ Sy, JTS, UFO and Chris Unknown. In 2009, Electronic Bedlam released the massive happy hardcore anthem 'Only One' by JTS & Technikore Featuring Lisa Marie!
