Electromagnetic ELECTROMAGNETIC
Active: 02.2007 - 11.2007
Genre: Breakbeat Hardcore
Format: 12" Vinyl (LIMITED EDITION)
Owner: Richard Andrews
A&R: Richard Andrews

Electromagnetic originated in 2007 when Electronica Exposed decided to start a specific label to release breakbeat hardcore music on vinyl including classics such as The Panacea 'Feelgood Tune', Invader 'Enraptured Soulz (Luna-C Remix)', Virus & Milo 'Searching', Audio X 'Feel Free' and Reese & Vicky Fee 'In My Dreams'. Beforehand, some breakbeat hardcore was released on Electronica Exposed's Electronic, Electronic Phusion, Electroplates and Digital Beatz labels including Tazz & Shanty 'Rave Ripper', The Mexican 'Speed Freak (Master Blaster)', AC Slater 'Rough Bitch', LCP 'Get Busy', Blakestar 'Mercury Rising (Reese Remix)', Stormtrooper 'Funkin Jungle', Sonic 'Experienced Breakage' and The Acolyte 'Neurotoxin'.

Electromagnetic was originally scheduled to release eight EPs, but due to a number of reasons, the label was only able to release the first four EPs which featured ravetastic and glowstick friendly music by The Panacea, The Acolyte, Reese, Invader, Luna-C, Virus, Milo, Audio X, Vicky Fee, StrifeII, Serenity, Carbon Based and Mitosis! The four scheduled but unreleased EPs featured breakbeat hardcore by Shanty, AC Slater, Daywalker, Buzzmasta, Orbit1, Blakestar, Fracus and Donna Grassie!

All Electromagnetic releases were pressed as limited edition vinyl editions of 100 copies each and are out of print. The entire Electromagnetic catalogue was released on CD and digital download on Electronica Exposed on:

03.2007 - Review By Sarah Wiles In IDJ Magazine
"New label Electromagnetic bring the old school flavas with their first release. 'Feelgood Tune' mashes up ravey sounds, pianos, heavy breaks, Casio keyboard homage and samples galore. On the flip there's a definite change of direction with 'Wipe Away's freeformy hardcore. US new blood Reese combines his own laidback vocal with Amy's sweet voice that propels the track from average to distinctly different."
